First post:
In roughly one week and seven hours, Qatar Airways flight 078 will be en route to Doha, Qatar with me (hopefully) on board. Thirty-eight hours after that--thanks to a half a day layover--I'll be stretching my legs in the Cape Town International Airport customs line while snacking on the bag of pretzels I saved from last month's Delta flight.
And who'll have the honor of greeting me there?

I'm not much of a blogger nor do I pretend to be, but for those of you who might actually read this (hi mom, hi dad), I promise to do my best to keep the site regularly updated with anything and everything I find noteworthy....we'll see how long that lasts, right?
